Admissions Counselor for Freshmen Recruitment

July 5, 2016

The University of Holy Cross seeks a full-time Admissions Counselor for Freshmen Recruitment. Review of applicants will begin immediately and will continue until position is filled. To ensure full consideration, priority will be given to the resumes received by July 22, 2016. Applicants must submit a resume, and a well written cover letter specifying their qualifications for the position. Three professional references will be required if selected for interviews. Position Description

The Admissions Counselor for Freshmen Recruitment will assist in the development of an incoming student class each semester. This position will develop specific recruitment goals and objectives for assigned schools; coordinate recruitment activities for all prospective students within an assigned territory; maintain an active liaison and with area high schools; participate in all recruitment activities; conduct seminars, workshops and social events to attract new students; maintain records via CRM and SIS of prospective students. This selected candidate must possess a current driver’s license and reliable transportation. Position consists of 50% traveling within the state and some weekend and evening work is required.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree; Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; and demonstrated professionalism; Ability to relate to individuals from diverse backgrounds; Willingness to work as a team and manage student workers; Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Power Campus, and have some experience with a CRM or background in collegiate recruitment or admissions processing; Outstanding organizational and team building skills.

Salary

Compensation is commensurate with credentials, background and experience.

Campus Security – Evening

July 13, 2016

University of Holy Cross invites applications for a full-time position as Campus Security – Evening and Saturday shift. Deadline for application is Friday July 29, 2016.

Position Description

Responsible for ensuring safety of students, faculty, staff and administration through patrols of outside parking areas and inside campus. To be visible at all times and be aware of role during any emergency, and any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Position requires 2-3 years of experience in Campus Security. Must be able to work Monday through Friday evening hours and Saturday during day.

Salary and Rank

Commensurate with experience.

Barista/Cashier (Part-time, Seasonal)

The University of Holy Cross seeks customer friendly part-time Barista/Cashiers for seasonal work (20 hours per week on a seasonal basis). Position Description

The barista/cashier is responsible for serving all products with friendly, individualized attention towards each customer. Learn and prepare all coffee and tea beverages according to café recipes. Be able to work as a team member in a professional manner. Accurately ring sales into cash register; responsible for cash drawer accuracy; routinely restock product shelves as necessary; routinely clean all customer service areas including, but not limited to, counters, microwaves, coolers, display shelves, floors, windows, trash, etc.

Required Qualifications

The successful candidate must be customer service oriented, displaying individualized attention towards each customer. Punctuality, integrity, honesty and a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events; anticipate customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues. Physical demands of job are frequently required use of hand to finger motions, reaching with hands and arms, constant standing/walking with occasional stooping, kneeling, crawling and ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps; routinely required to lift and/or move items up to thirty (30) pounds; and regularly required to handle food and hot/cold beverages. High school degree or equivalent necessary; experience preferred but will train.

Salary

$8.00 per hour
